
The inaugural NZ Primary Health Care Awards/He Tohu Maori Ora showcase innovation, collaboration, and superlative outcomes in the Primary Health Care sector. There were 22 award categories recognizing work that is already happening in the sector and to encourage further collaboration. the collective aim as stated by the organizers is to improve access, health and well-being outcomes for Maori and non-Maori alike. Winners were honored at a glittering black-tie gala at Auckland waterfront's Shed 10 the evening of February 29, 2020.
Castlecliff Health entered the competition for the 'MEDISPACE GOOD SPACE AWARD.
This award recognizes the imaginative design of a healthcare facility that contributes to an improved patient/consumer experience, enhancing the model of care and supporting the practitioners who work in the space. The project or design initiative was required to be original and the entry needed to explain the following aspects of the project:

Castlecliff Health! It was a huge honor for the team to be nominated and to then go onto win the award in this category. The team take pride in the fact that a small team like ours has been recognized nationally for the highest honor in the Primary Health Care sector for innovation in the design of a clinic facility. The entire team attended the awards night to receive the honor at the gala on February 29, 2020.
